EMPLOYER/CLIENT FAQS

Your cost will vary based on several factors including account volume, workers’ comp costs, and lead time for our recruiters. Because we’re independent, we pass savings on to you – money you’d end up spending on extra fees if you let a national firm handle your search.

We are glad you asked! Before we begin recruiting, we take the time to learn about your company and understand your staffing needs through our client onboarding process. We want to know the motivation for hiring and who makes a good fit for your company. It all starts with a detailed questionnaire where you tell us all about the position or positions that you need to fill.

From there, we develop strategies and set realistic goals that are specific to your company’s needs and present you with our recommendations. After receiving your feedback and making any necessary adjustments our search and recruitment efforts begin immediately. CSS will send the most qualified candidates for your needs. We use COATS, a specially designed computer software system that allows us to quickly find the ideal candidate for the skills you’re seeking.

The time frame varies based on our current employee database and your skill requirements. We’re committed to sending the most qualified applicants. You may decide to look at the most qualified applicants and conduct an interview or we can fill a position based on the qualifications you provide.

We conduct both background checks and drug screens on a case-by-case basis for clients whose positions require them. This is discussed during the client onboarding process and the cost for these services will be factored into your bill rate.

CSS partners with First Choice Drug Testing, another locally owned business, to provide these services.

Your company can still reap the benefits of our temporary or temp-to-hire services even with employees that you find through your own efforts. After you select the employees you want, CSS does the rest. We assume all payrolling costs and employer liabilities. You pay only for time worked – no benefits, including vacation, holidays, or sick leave. CSS is responsible for unemployment and workers’ compensation claims. Since we did not incur recruiting or screening costs, we are able to offer this service at a discounted bill rate.

Just let us know! We guarantee that the CSS employee we provide will be fully qualified to serve in the specified capacity. If you’re not completely satisfied with your employee, you won’t be billed for the work performed if you notify us within the first four hours.

Cost-effectiveness. We are constantly recruiting candidates within our specific practice areas. We take away your stress recruiting and eliminate your downtime so that you can spend your days focused on the productivity of your department or business.  We invest in our own staff by providing training and certification through the American Staffing Association and other industry leaders and trainers. We can be a resource to you when questions arise about staffing and employment.
