How much will it cost my company?
Your cost will vary based on several factors including account volume, workers’ comp costs and lead time for our staffing managers. Because we’re independent, we pass savings on to you – money you’d end up spending on extra fees if you let a national firm handle your search.
What is the process for finding employees through CSS?
Our search and recruitment efforts begin immediately. CSS will get the details of the position from you so we will send the most qualified applicants for your needs. We use COATS, a specially designed computer software system that allows us to quickly find the ideal candidate for the skills you’re seeking.
How long will it take to place an employee at our company?
The time frame varies based on our current employee base and your skill requirements. We’re committed to sending the most qualified applicants. You may decide to look at the most qualified applicants and conduct an interview or we can fill a position based on the qualifications you provide.
What kind of background checks do you provide?
All employees must pass a criminal background check to be placed on assignment. The background checks are processed through Orange Tree Employment Screening Services which is derived from the Arkansas Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) and the Arkansas Department of Corrections (DOC). This is considered a “first-look” check. Upon request, we can complete a more detailed background investigation or Motor Vehicle Report.
How does the payrolling service work?
After you select the employees you want, CSS does the rest. We assume all payrolling costs and employer liabilities for a percentage over the pay rate. You pay only for time worked – no benefits, including vacation, holidays, or sick leave. CSS is responsible for unemployment and workers’ compensation claims.
What if I am not satisfied with an employee placed by CSS?
Just let us know! We guarantee that the CSS employee we provide will be fully qualified to serve in the specified capacity. If you’re not completely satisfied with your employee, you won’t be billed for the work performed if you notify us within the first four hours.
