Job Description

The Inside Sales/Marketing person will focus on customer acquisition. This position involves cold calling new potential clients, following up on referrals from clients and web/social media leads. Provide prospective customers with information on all products. Work with customer and consult through the sales process. Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to close sales and increase revenue.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential customers
• Understanding the customer’s business and finding out what their needs are.
• Generating leads from a variety of sources that include, but are not limited to: social media, trade shows, lead lists, etc.
• Maintaining a list/database of prospective customers
• Presenting and delivering information to potential customers and answering any questions and follow-up calls
• Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
• Closing sales and working with the customer through the process
• Support the Sales teams with marketing initiatives to generate leads
• Strong phone presence and experience making a large volume of calls each day
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers utilizing a high level of professionalism
• Strong listening and presentation skills
• Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
• Proven success and experience with inside sales/lead generation environment
• Self-motivated and self-directed with attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience posting on social media
• Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential customer
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and SAP Business One experience preferred
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in the areas stated above
• BA/BS degree in Sales/Marketing or equivalent
