The Importance of Candidate Applications

applications filed

A candidate’s application to your business may seem like it only has one purpose: to apply to your company. So after you have hired someone, should you throw out the rest of the applications? The answer may surprise you.

In this week’s Round Table Discussion series, Beverly Smith (President/Co-owner of Career Staffing Services) and Glenda Caton (Owner of Caton Consulting) discuss the importance of written and electronic job applications. The topic covers what should be included on them, why you should hold onto them and for how long, and why a resume is not a substitute for an application.
