Order Puller

YOU MUST COMPLETE ENTIRE ONLINE APPLICATION TO BE CONSIDERED FOR POSITION JOB DESCRIPTION The order puller position is responsible for selecting customer orders in the warehouse. Orders are pulled from stock using selection labels which contains product slot numbers, items codes and item descriptions using the SAE-Scanning System. The selector scans the slot location on the label, travels to the slot by means of a mid-rider (electric pallet jack), identifies the product, places the label on the case and then places selected product on a pallet arranged in delivery stop sequence. The product is shrink- wrapped on the pallet and taken to the designated outbound dock door for loading. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Stocking and assembling merchandise • Unloading and loading trucks • Operating forklift, pallet jack • Repetitive lifting JOB QUALIFICATIONS • Clean Driving Record • Must be able to walk extensively • Must be able to stand for long periods of time • Must be able to bend at the waist; stoop to reach into slot locations and squat to lift heavy items in a proper manner. • Must be able to lift 30-60 lbs repetitively and heavier items weighing up to 100lbs occasionally. • SAE-Scanning or similar systems experience preferred but not required • Must have normal use of shoulders, arms, wrist, hands, feet & legs. • Must be able to read slot numbers and product descriptions • Material handling equipment experience required • Must be capable of selecting orders in all temperature zones and meet the 200 cases per hour selection standards at the end of the selector's 90 day probationary period. • Forklift, Pallet jack experience • Must be 18 years or older • Must pass drug screen and physical exam EDUCATION • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) Conduct sales and promotion calls to customers and develop positive working relationships. Keep abreast of new, promotional, and current product lines. Establish effective working relationships with customers. Process special orders as requested. Continuously meet customer expectations. Provide telephone coverage for incoming customer calls. Lab Supervisor, High Speed Cable Assembly Manufacturing Company

With general supervision, coordinates test projects and perform standard and complex tests, analysis and evaluations on high speed cable assemblies. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise, develop, train, and appraise Test Engineers and Technicians. Make daily work assignments and assess the progress of projects. Review and approve Test Reports authored by Test Engineers and Technicians. Review test methods and practices used by the supervised staff. Insure that department policies and procedures are followed. Conduct and manage several simultaneous tests and departmental projects with differing priorities for a division or specific business unit and provides general direction to lab personnel involved in assigned projects. Testing requires experience with digital sampling oscilloscopes (eye patterns, impedance, skew, TDR), pattern generators (PRBS, CJTPAT), network analyzers (insertion loss, return loss), spectrum analyzers, and bit error rate testers (BERT) required. Perform product evaluation and performance analysis. Utilizing standard departmental procedures, develop and modify product test plans to establish performance and reliability of the products being tested. Prepare detailed and complex test reports. Interface with the high speed adapter development teams in the design, development, testing, and implementation of multi-gigabit cable assemblies. Multi-discipline team includes customers, suppliers, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and marketing. B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering required WORK RELATED EXPERIENCE: 5 years of professional experience in a laboratory evaluating connectors, switches, cable, etc. Working knowledge of EMC/EMI tests and compliance. Proven project management skills to manage and complete several large projects simultaneously, which require support several different sources. Design experience with electromagnetic transmission lines, schematic capture, PCB layout, and component sourcing. 3 to 5 years of experience as a Project Test Engineer desired. Strong computer skills - knowledge of Windows, spreadsheet and word processing software. Proficient in the use of PC based statistical analysis software.
